The Nutrition & Behaviour Research Unit at the University of Bristol
is looking for (PAID) volunteers to take part in a study
investigating: The effects of drinks on appetite.
We require healthy adults aged 18-65, who are non or light smoker,
have no known allergies, are not vegetarian and are not currently dieting.
Taking part involves just one visit to our research unit at the
University of Bristol, lasting approximately one hour. During the
test session you will be asked to consume a sweet drink or water, to
rate your hunger and later consume lunch. You will be paid
generously and receive £7 for you participation.

Location: Unit F, 7A4Victoria Road, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 9DB. Near the park and ride/Shirehampton Station.
Duties: General cleaning and housekeeping in microbiological laboratory, offices canteen and toilets. Duties will include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. General cleaning duties around the laboratory including changing bins, washing up utensils, bottles etc. Handling microbiological waste, equipment cleaning and other light general laboratory assistant duties in the laboratory.
Skills: A hard working, reliable, trustworthy applicant is essential. The position will include lone-working prior to the opening of the business. Some duties will include some fairly heavy lifting. Due to the early start and location, own transport is advisable. An understanding of working in a laboratory would be preferable but not essential. Vacancy would suit a 1st or 2nd year student.
Hours: Early mornings prior to 09.30am, minimum of 8 hours per week (max. 16 hours per week during term time).
Duration: Ongoing - Including out of term time.
Rate: £6.08 ph
