If you are interested in conservation volunteering and are free on Saturday this may be the volunteering for you. Richard Spalding, a UWE lecturer, leads the group of volunteers at the barn. Last year many volunteers from UWE went along once a month to this medieval barn to help their team with conservation and renovation work.
You can travel by bus from Frenchay campus or the city centre and we can reimburse your travel expenses. You just need to turn up, wear sturdy footwear and be prepared to get your hands dirty! Refreshments will be provided. For travel information download our handy guide to getting to the barn.
