Description
The UWE Politics & International Relations is a newly-created society in September 2010 and exist for three main reasons:
Firstly, we exist to make the learning of Politics and International Relations more engaging by taking it beyond the classroom.
Secondly, we are looking to help students develop a deeper interest and understanding of both Politics and International Relations.
Finally, we want to create closer relations amongst students but also between students and academic staff.
We plan on achieving this (and much more!) by holding regular debates and discussion on a range of topics related to Politics and International Relations. These will be delivered by visiting speakers, lecturers & students.
Where They Train / Meet
The aim is for us to meet once a week at a time and venue to be communicated by the Social Secretary. Regular Socials are also on the agenda so it won't be all academic!
