Description

Sealed Knot is a nationally recognised charity that recreates 17th Century battles from the English Civil War. The Sealed Knot provides the opportunity to become a Pikeman, Musketeer or Civilian and travel to beautiful historic locations across the country to re-enact battles for education purposes for the public and schools. We also have a varied social calendar throughout the year.

Where They Train / Meet

Weekly meeting location is yet to be confirmed.

The main battle seasion in Bristol, Bath & the surrounding area runs from early spring to late autumn and includes banquets, drill displays and other civil war themed events throughout the year. Transport will be provided to many of the events we attend.

In addition to the SU membership fee which covers insurance is membership to the Sealed Knot which costs an additional £38 for the year however the Society will be offering a £10 subsidy from this membership.

Members don't need anything to join and you also not need to be interested in History either. All you need is a good sense of fun and an open mind!

We will provide all the kit you need to get you started and enjoy a varied and even mix of chaps and lasses. Everyone is welcome to come and try it out!
