The Gaming Society brings UWE gamers together to celebrate and enjoy playing video games or computer games (or just having the odd pub crawl). Open to anyone, including non-gamers or gaming newbies, we have introductory nights to general gaming, as well as introducing genres to gamers of all creeds, and gnerally enjoying new things in the social (albeit slightly geeky) setting. In addition to this we will have infrequent but quality events such as big LAN parties and trips to game developing companies in the West of England (additional fees to cover these expenses may apply). If you have additional ideas for activities that will fit our society, we're always happy to take on new themes of gaming. Geekyness is healthy for everyone - in limited doses!
Where They Train / Meet
We normally meet on campus, as we try to acquire a computer lab for evenng gaming, or hooking up a console to a projector.
