Description
UWE Sub-Aqua is a registered British Sub-Aqua Club (BS-AC) branch.We offer new divers the opportunity to train from novices to the first Ocean Diver grade through to higher levels. We also provide opportunities to train as instructors and gain a range of skills through Skills Development Courses.
If you have already qualified with another organisation (i.e. PADI, NAUI, CMAS etc) and would like to train further, we offer to cross over your current course to the equivalent BSAC qualification. Plus, you get to retain your old qualification as well.
Where they train/meet
We meet Mondays at 6:30pm in 3D06, Frenchay campus and at 10:30pm we can be found having a few drinks at the Hobgoblin Pub, Gloucester Road.Membership fee

Other Info
The club owns all of its own dive equipment, such as cylinders and regulators, which members can borrow for pool sessions and trips. Initially new members can borrow masks, booties, fins and snorkels. After the first month the club has a kit sale where we take new members to our local dive club so they can buy their own basic kit. The Dive shop also has a hiring service where members can hire wet-suits and weight for the club trips.
