Avon Fire & Rescue Service
Students Needed for Focus Groups. Each student will receive a £15 High Street voucher for taking part.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service has commissioned ICE, a social marketing agency, to conduct a piece of market research into the incidence of fires within student rented accommodation in Bristol.
The objective of this research is to understand how the Fire Service can better support students to reduce the number of cooking related accidental dwelling fires within their accommodation.
If you are aged 18-24, in your second or third year of study and live in rented accommodation then we need you!
Each focus group will take approximately one hour and will be held on the Frenchay campus.
Each student will receive a £15 High Street voucher for taking part.
Some of the research areas due to be covered in the focus groups will include:
• Food preparation
• Cooking habits
• The kitchen area
• Experience of fires
• Knowledge of fire safety.
Any information you give during the focus group will be strictly confidential and anonymous, trained facilitators will be used.
Groups will be held at the beginning of June 2010 – dates TBC.
