Podium is hosting a series of 10 regional events across England and Wales during March and April to inform those working in the Further and Higher Education sectors about the opportunities

emanating from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

All events are free to attend (registration required) and will highlight the range of opportunities available to colleges and universities as well as introducing official London 2012 programmes.

Delivered in partnership with those leading on London 2012 regionally, the events are designed to spark ideas and introduce programmes such as Inspire, the London 2012 Volunteer Programme,

Get Set, and the London 2012 Business Network including CompeteFor.

The University of the West of England, Bristol will host the South West regional event on Thursday 15 April in [partnership with the RELAYS project. The event will include a significant regional element, with relevant speakers presenting examples of Games-related activity and best practice from the SW region.
