I have been newly elected into Presidency by the students of UWE to ensure your student voice is heard loud and clear! UWE is an incredibly diverse, unique and exciting institution and as one of your four student body presidents it’s my job to ensure you get the best out of your time here and to ensure that the changes made at UWE reflect your best interests. UWE and your Student Union have an incredible amount to offer so make the most of your student experience!

Hello! My name is Terry and I am your elected Activities President for 2010/11.

What will I do for you? My responsibilities for you include, supporting societies, student welfare, entertainments, student media and the Raising & Giving society (RAG). I am here for you and I work for you. I spent four of the greatest years of my life studying at UWE and working for the UWESU. I want to give something back, I want to help enhance your experience here at university. Gail Wilson

SRC Vice President

Hi I’m Gail your Student Representation Council (SRC) Vice President for 2010/11.

This is my 2nd year as a president after being re-elected but before that I studied for 5 years at Hartpury College as an undergrad and postgrad student. My role alongside with the other 3 presidents is to represent and support you as students here at UWE, and my focus is on academic issues, from assessment feedback to teaching quality. UWE is a great place to study and Bristol is a great place to live so get stuck in and enjoy it!

Nadia Harding

Sports President

Hey I’m Nads (AKA GO Nads), re-elected Sports President for 2010-2011. I am here to encourage the development of UWE Sport, and to increase participation in recreational activity for ALL students. I coordinate the Varsity Series where we play against our rivals Bristol University. I also coordinate, the monthly Sports Night, Sports Awards, Free For Sport Week and chair the Sports Council. This year I will also be part of a Relocation Board for our St Matts Campus. Finally I am here to represent YOU the students , so come and chat to me!
