The University is looking for some eager students to represent UWE in the 18th series of University Challenge to be broadcast on the BBC next year. Taking part in University Challenge is an unique experience - it is extremely enjoyable, a bit nerve-wracking, but most of all an achievement of which to be extremely proud. Teams who progress through the contest to take part in the final will have appeared on screen at least 6 times by the time the trophy is awarded.

UWE needs 5 students, a team of 4 and a reserve, who will be entered into the competition. So if you have the charm to win over Jeremy Paxman, can dress for TV and of course can answer questions such as:

‘The Knickerbockers, Giants, Jets, Islanders, Rangers, Mets and Yankees are all professional sports teams in which U.S. City’?
