Bars
Frenchay, Glenside, St Matt’s and Bower Ashton: UWESU bars are located at each site catering for a caffeine fix or a chilled beer.
Mouth-watering menus at very reasonable prices are available to ensure you get a good meal. Hosting a variety of DJs and performers, our campus bars can quickly shift from your local pub to the city’s option of an entertainment venue.
Escape Bar
Opening Times: Monday to Friday - 8am till late. Saturdays - 12 noon till late. Sundays 12 noon til midnight.
One of the main student union bars, based on the Frenchay campus (F block). Ideal for breakfast and coffee in the day, or perhaps a few drinks in the evening with your friends.
Red Bar
Opening Times: Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm. Open late for events.
Red Bar is situated directly above Escape in the central shopping area. It provides a great atmosphere during the day and really comes alive for its evening events!
Glenside Bar
Head down to your Glenside student union bar for fun and good times!

Ideal for lunch and coffee in the chilled out Eton, or perhaps a few drinks while you dance the night away upstairs in Haze
