Proposal for a new SU Constitution

For the last few years the SU has been working on developing a new constitution to improve the way the SU runs and opening up more opportunities for students to get involved. The headline changes are;

  • Increasing the number of full-time elected presidents from 4-5
  • Changing the names and remits of the full-time elected presidents
  • Increasing the number of part-time officers from 7-9
  • Introducing a new Student Council
  • Changing the composition of the Board of Trustees

The new constitution has to be agreed by students at the Annual General Meeting
